Is the surgical procedure painful?
No. All procedures are performed under effective local anaesthesia. For patients who experience particular anxiety, we additionally offer sedation (medicated sleep), during which the patient feels nothing.
How long does recovery take?
Recovery time depends on the complexity of the procedure. After a simple tooth extraction, recovery is quick; after wisdom tooth removal or implant placement, mild swelling may occur for 2–3 days. We always provide precise instructions and, if necessary, prescribe medication.
What do I need to know before surgery?
A consultation takes place before the procedure, during which the doctor explains everything in detail. As a rule, if sedation is planned, you should not eat or drink before the procedure. With standard anaesthesia, there are no special restrictions.
Can I go to work the same day?
After a surgical procedure, we recommend resting on the same day and avoiding physical exertion. If necessary, the doctor will issue a sick note.
